The Ankara Beauty Social Impact fund is a philanthropic initiative established by Khadijah Polly, an HBCU graduate of Grambling State University and the founder of Ankara Beauty, a social enterprise that sources all-natural beauty products from women-owned cooperatives in Ghana. With her marketing degree and experience, Khadijah aims to support organizations in Africa that often do not have extensive marketing budgets. The fund's mission is to create lasting change in the lives of women and children in Ghana by raising funds to support impactful projects in communities outside of the capital city. The fund is currently raising $20,000 to commission a borehole for a community to bring them safe drinking water and to complete the construction of a school in Savelugu. Through philanthropy and crowdfunding, the Ankara Beauty Social Impact Fund aims to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

I would be honored if you would consider donating one of your children's books to support our cause.
Our goal is to not only build a school for the children whose mothers make Shea butter for Ankara Beauty, and drill a borehole to bring safe drinking water to a community, but also to stock the library and computer lab with books and educational resources. To achieve this, we are offering three levels of sponsorship:
Level 1: For a $50 donation and one of your books, we will include your name and book title on a plaque on the side of one of our bookshelves.
Level 2: For a $100 donation and one of your books, we will include your name and book title on a plaque on the side of one of our bookshelves, and send you a picture of the children holding your book.
Level 3: For a $150 donation and one of your books, we will include your name and book title on a plaque on the side of one of our bookshelves, send you a picture of the children holding your book, and send you a thank-you video from the children in Ghana holding your book.

We believe that access to education, books, and technology is critical for the growth and development of children in Ghana. Unfortunately, many children in Ghana do not have access to these resources and are therefore unable to reach their full potential. By providing them with a new school, equipped with a fully stocked library and computer lab, we can ensure that they have the tools they need to succeed.
